This may be one of the first tracks I did with the Virus Indigo.  Mix sounds a bit muddled, will upload a cleaner one.

The remix title "famous fraud" refers to a scene in the film Rubin and Ed, where a car in the middle of the desert has graffiti saying "Andy Warhol sucks a big one."  Rubin laughs, saying that Warhol was a fraud.  Ed defends, saying he wasn't a fraud because he was famous.  Rubin replies, "You can be famous and be a fraud... a famous fraud!"

You can order the film directly from the guy who made it, otherwise it is rare to find a copy.  Starring Crispin Glover and Howard Hesseman.

This is the "original" version which the other two are based on, however there was a previous version of this which used a 16th note gating effect on the strings.

This is more recent than most of these other tracks.  This track was made as an example of using the MAQ16/3 step sequencer's "Step Duration (timing multiplication)" feature.  The sound at the start is a modular synth patch being sequenced with the MAQ.  The other synth sounds in the song were played and recorded in one take (each)on the Virus Indigo 2, except for the arpeggio and sub bass sounds.

Hardtimes

This track uses a Doepfer MAQ16/3 Sequencer for several tracks, and the remaining tracks were played by hand.  The sequencer CV was used for key follow, inverted and routed to a Volatge Controlled Decay (A-142) via a joystick controlled VC Switch.  This was the focus of the track, to create long low notes and short high notes from the same patterns.  Most sounds are the modular system, focusing on the A-107 Filter.  Noise swell/fade and slow rising pitch are SH-101.   Drums are TR-707.

Demo patch using A-155 to sequence TTSH.  All TTSH except for Blacet Delay and A-155/154/156.  Main sequence is sent to VCO1+3 through Lag and to VCO2 through S&H.  VCO1+3 through VCF/VCA, split to Blacet Delay and Balanced Modulator on TTSH.  Delay return to main mix.  VCO2 to main mix.  Bal Mod to spring reverb, return to main mix.  Transposed by Microbrute keys

8step TTSH patch w BBD

An attempt at a three oscillator, paraphonic patch using the TTSH controlled by a Doepfer MCV24 polyphonic CV convertor. 

VCO2 was also used for some filter FM and its PW was modulated by the low-frequency noise generator.  TTSH spring reverb applied.

TTSH Paraphonic Test

This is an example of using a Clock Divider and a Trigger Delay module to create a shuffled clock for driving analoq sequencers.  There are two short sections where the clock is normal, but for most of the track, it is shuffled.  Shuffle ratio is set by Trigger Delay time.
