Most of us, unfamiliar with the nuances of alchemy, view it as the predecessor of our modern sciences, like medicine, chemistry, metallurgy. But, it was much, much more. The alchemists were dissolving and regenerating the elements together with their experiences and their identity to create something completely new within themselves. As the famous alchemical saying goes: "Solve et Coagula", dissolve and coagulate.

Combining sounds is a form of alchemy as well. De-solidfying and de-constructing sounds together with our own journeys, we actively transform and evolve. Like an alchemist, I first felt, analyzed and separated these sounds on the one hand; consolidated and integrated them with my own diary on the other other hand. Let’s now hear not only the pairs Gold/Silver, Sulphur/Mercury but also the pairs Sun/Moon, Spirit/Matter, and Light/Dark.

Während ich in einer Bar in Tel Aviv sitze und ein Goldstar trinke, erinnere ich mich daran, wie mein Papa mir früher vom Gewässer Totes Meer erzählt hat. Ein Gewässer, von dem die Erfahrungen mit der Schwerkraft in Frage gestellt werden, fern, lebensfeindlich, weit weg. Nun bin ich hier, mich trennen nur gut hundert Kilometer von diesem sonderbaren Ort und morgen werde ich mich auf den Weg machen. 

Später berichtet mir ein Mann am Nebentisch, der mich angesprochen hat und mit dem ich ein Bier trinke, dass das Tote Meer ein wirklich schräger Ort sei.Von Tel Aviv sei es nicht weit und alleine des Nachts an den Ufern des Toten Meeres könne man Dinge sehen und zwar nicht nur dann, wenn man zu viel geraucht hätte. Sondern es sei ein mystischer Ort, ein Ort außerhalb des normalen Raumes und außerhalb der normalen Zeit. 

Durch so eine Landschaft bin ich bisher noch nie mit dem Auto gefahren, ich staune und freue mich und schließlich passiere ich den Parkplatz „Meereshöhe“. Aber es geht noch viel weiter hinunter, das Tote Meer ist mit etwa -400 Metern schließlich der tiefste Punkt der Erde. 

Und schließlich liegt das Tote Meer vor mir. Der Horizont verschwindet im Flimmern der von Mineralstaub trüben Luft. Es ist wie in einem Traum, in dem man nur das fokussiert wahrnimmt, was direkt um einen herum liegt. Alles, was weiter weg ist, ist unscharf und diffus, wie in einem Nebel aus Licht. 


Lasst euch vom Duo Serioes und Legendäer an diesen mystischen Ort entführen. Sie erfüllen den Lichtnebel mit Effekten aus Raum und Zeit und geben dem Ort ein waberndes Gewand aus sich windenden Tönen und Melodien.

Zur Geisterstunde löse ich meine Fesseln, ihr seid meine Opfer, liegt unschuldig schlafend in euren Sesseln. Ich such dich heim, schlüpf behände in deinen Kopf hinein. Dort habe ich eine Menge Spaß, verdreh deinen Traum zu einer Albtraum-fahrt. 
Deine Ohren werden lang gezogen, ich drücke dich mit meinen kalten Fingern zu Boden. Dein schönstes Kleid wird zerrissen, schreiend versteckst du dich in deinem Kissen. Stundenlang wirst du gepiesackt, geneckt und gequält, die Sonne geht auf, so ein Mist, meine letzten Minuten sind gezählt.
Doch es ist erst vorbei wenn dein Wecker schreit, er läutet mir die Abfahrtszeit.
Der Podcast von Tabby ist der optimale Traumfänger für unruhige Nächte und Traumgespinste aller Art.
