Friday Night Funkin': VS Whitty - "Remorse" (Synthwave Rendition)

Dipping into deeper waters with the electronic/synth music genre, I tipped more toes into making a remix from the Madness Combat series, and their mod Friday NIght Funkin - VS Tricky. The original song unlocks after you beat the mod in their famous "Hellclown" hard-difficulty I took heavy inspiration from creators that took that song and slowed it down and changed keys.

When Updike was reworked in its own mod, and because of the succession of my first remix of his song "Remorse", I gave it another go in this Hard/Dark rock remix. Instead of the original voices, this remix uses two leading guitars. with a free-hand solo toward the end. I made this track at the time of my Grandpa Douglass' passing at Christmas--putting my heart and soul into it and lashing all out--like my soul just exploded out...

"Remorse: The Greater Regret" (Friday Night Funkin': VS Updike V2)

New to Q4 2023, I have been working on this remix for the past 4 months. My friends and I have been exploring indie FNF mods and stumbled upon a mod by Krumperoni: VS Anne-Droid, a friendly robotic character patrolling the streets after BF was caught loitering, and was challenged to a rap battle in his old-school fashion. The mod features this song "Control", featuring a casual electronic composition with boasting drops that make your head bang. In this remix, I expand that out and make a secret cameo appearance from a famous blue hedgehog in the solo.

A lo-fi-style original track that reflects on living the best life with past furry friends over the last twenty years. With our last veteran cat having to be put down in late October 2023...it is the hardest to grieve above them all. My goal was to have this released around this unforeseen timing to commemorate all that we have lost but to cherish the memories that they have us hold forever.
