Agamas are a four piece band originating in Melbourne Victoria. The band has been together for 10 months beginning with the collaboration of Drummer Tim Canterford and Guitarist Dino Losi. From there, Singer Chloe Allworthy joined the band along with Bass player Nel D’couto. They strive for a sound unlike any other with the use of each band member’s unique creative abilities to put together some great original sounds. Although they strive to create their own signature style, influences stem far and wide including Paramore and Tonight Alive just to name a few. Agamas are currently working on a project which is hoped to soon lead to the release of their first EP

Recently relocating to Paris, Hetty is often credited with an ‘effortless’ vocal style. One of Australia’s busiest jazz vocalists, Hetty sings with her own bands as well as touring with Australian jazz legend James Morrison for over four years. 

In the last decade she has toured in Asia, Europe and North America and joined the Melbourne, Tasmanian, Hong Kong, Auckland, Christchurch and Sydney Symphony Orchestras for James Morrison’s popular show ‘The A to Z of Jazz’. Personal highlights include performing at the Sydney Opera House and joining the Amazing Keystone Big Band (FR) for their West Side Story concert, as Maria.

Equally at home delivering a poetic ballad as fronting a hot swing band, Hetty’s lyrical delivery, natural sound and impeccable timing truly set her apart from her contemporaries.
