Love Barve - Back To Basics

My next guest is Echology, a music producer and DJ from Mielec, Poland. 
Echology is specialised in dub techno, ambient, deep techno and  genres of deep electronics. 

Besides self-publishing music, he has released tracks on labels such as Drift Deeper, Scale Limited, Crossfade Sounds, Apnea, hello strange, Techenie, insectorama. 

Having a background as a bass player, he tends to favour productions with deep and emphasised basslines and puts major focus on rhythm. 

Working daily as a musician and sound engineer, Echology tends to experiment with sonics, tonality and rhythm in ways that overcome boundaries. 

He adapted an old school method of composing, using a mixture of hardware synthesizers and drum machines, guitar pedals, mixing console and DAW. Thus, his performances are never the same and each jam is unique and spontaneous.

In his DJ sets Echology pursues the same goal - deep and groovy bassline intertwine with soft yet punchy kick drums. Not straying from slower and softer grooves, his main focus are danceable dubbed out tunes invoking dreamlike audio mirage. 

Being a big time fan of old school Jamaican roots dub reggae, you can often hear some roots vocals in his selections.

This set is no exception to all above, so brace yourself for a trip into hypnotic grooves and minimalist ethereal soundscapes!

From the very beginning, when I first got to know Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer during his uprise, I felt the passion and dedication he carries for this music. I’ve always had deep appreciation for him, not only because of his artistry but also because I was fortunate to have a couple of my own mixes shared on his channel. Those moments gave me the motivation to keep pushing forward, and I’ll never forget the support.

My very first guest mix on his series kept gathering views and still means a lot to me to this day. And now, I’m proudly happy to welcome him into my own series of World Night’s. Enjoy, my dubby friends, this amazing mix.

Biography: 
Alexander's life story began in Kaliningrad, where he grew up in a family of professional musicians, which left an indelible imprint on him. Whatever he was fond of as a teenager, it all ultimately came down to music: classes at a music school in accordion and piano, later contrabass, as well as DJing on two-cassette tape recorders and the first home mixes on cassettes :)

Since 2006, Alexander has established himself in the music industry, making it not only a part of his life, but also a profession: producing pop music arrangements for artists in Belarus and Russia. However, he draws a clear dividing line between work and creativity. Speaking of music and personality, one can be convinced that these are inextricably linked entities. Alexander develops thanks to music and music develops thanks to Alexander. The sound palette, which he collects from different parts of his soul, is designed to convey love and peace through the prism of the facets of dub techno.

Biography: 
Daniil Lalenkov aka Sleney was born on 06/16/1996 in the city of Yartsevo, Smolensk region. Acquaintance with music began when a tape recorder appeared with CDs and cassettes. From the beginning of 2020, the artist began a new stage in his musical activity. He began to study the FL Studio program in more depth, experimenting in it, began to come to his unique sound, creating a recognizable handwriting. The author's music is clearly inspired by nature. That is why his music is so atmospheric and original. In some of his compositions he uses field recordings, due to this, his compositions become more lively, atmospheric and nostalgic, evoking warm memories in the listener. At the moment, Daniil uses FL Studio to write his music and create podcasts, it is in this program that all his ideas are implemented.

Biography: 
Real name Andrey Afanasiev, originally from the cold Murmansk in Russia. Passion and love for electronic music came in 1996, when Andrey first heard acid techno and acid trance tracks. Since 2000, he acted as only vinyl DJ. Since 2002 he has actively participated in club life. Played on one stage with Burnski (James Burnham), Falko Brocksieper, Dub Taylor and other equally interesting DJs and producers. In 2012, together with his colleague Mød, created a project Aima, that promoting dark industrial techno sound. In 2015 Andrey created the project Ekstendia, that focused on Dub Techno and which today is the main. Ekstendia favors the deep sound of Northern Dub Techno, this is an echo resounding over northern nature. Fog over the endless fields, the breath of the city at night. Cold layered textures and airport sounds. Atmospheric canvas. A leisurely massive sound that takes you far into the depths of consciousness.
