The elusive Hackney basement dweller Alpha Delta colloquially known as Alpha D drops his debut single “The Moat” as the very first 12” output on the mysterious new hybrid Berlin++Sydney based label Delphic Iris Records. The headline single inspired by a faithful rave session in Croatia where Alpha D was simultaneously emotionally touched, scarred and sonically pummelled by kick drums at a wild and stormy Dimensions Festival.

This dark techno beast was the aggressive, distorted acid offspring of that faithful night raving between the mud and tears of the crowd at the formidable Moat stage at Punta Christo. His OG Mix is classic 132bpm heavy pounding acid techno at its moodiest.

In the Remix department we have support from the entire Delphic Iris Records crew on this one. A fitting introduction to the labels sound.

Sydney based Drox of Analog Cabin fame has a low end electro bass bin rattler for us that delves into melancholic and psychedelic 303 territory, deep, minimal and functional a perfect mid set groover in our opinion.

Critical Automator takes us on a deep and elegant techno journey transcending both murky seas and lush hazy skies in his dub mix. Definitely dialled back from the OG mix but there is no shortage of kick drum energy in this one.

16 Faces cooks up complex drum work and funk driven baselines in a hybrid 146 bpm number that’s just a touch rave, grime and idm in his 5am mix. The off beat stabs and euphoric strings are plentiful, more than enough to get your through any wobbly kneed sunrise.

In a moment of serendipity, the original Critical Automator Dub mix was created, then meticulously chopped up and reworked into this alternative version. It combines contrasting textures of blurry and sharp focus, evoking visions of murky seas and lush, hazy skies.

16 Faces is on remix duty for the elusive up and coming techno hermit Alpha Delta of his debut release "The Moat" on Delphic Iris Records. Complex drum work and funk driven baselines bring a unique broken energy to this 146 bpm hybrid bass jam.

One large dose of 90s rave channeling early prodigy, a hint of IDM rhythm and drums and just a touch of uk bass bottom end bring forth something as dance floor as it is heady. Nostalgic yet innovative. 

The off beat rave stabs and euphoric synth strings are plentiful, there is more than enough in here to get your through any wobbly kneed sunrise at a loose summer festival.

Delphic Iris Records is pleased to announce the release of Drox's debut solo 12” EP, Hexameter.
This EP features a high-energy remix by 16 Faces, adding a distinct clattering 160 bpm 808 beatdown to the collection.

“Hexameter” brings together a diverse range of sounds, from machine funk and intricate acid lines to engaging detroit-styled dystopian and alien-like synth scapes. Each track offers a unique auditory experience, inviting listeners to explore new otherworldly sonic territories.
Drox emphasizes rhythmic interplay throughout the EP, with a strong focus on groove.

The Nightime Drama label from Australia is launching a new digital only release 'Southern Series', which will showcase music exclusively from Australian artists. The label’s first compilation will feature one or two installments per year and will be made up of both established and new artists from Adelaide and Sydney. Mixing up the deeper side of dub, electro and techno, it will be available exclusively on Bandcamp and features eight expressive, forward thinking tracks that are designed for intimate dance floors.

Artists included on the first installment are the likes of Analog cabin and Crobot Muzik associate Drox, Sydney mainstay and dub meister Oscar.Mike, one half of the Adelaide's One & One duo Featherstone, Adelaide veteran Metamethod, prolific Adelaide producer and member of the Juice records family Antony Coppens, Sydney based live act Simon Mann, plus up and coming producers Jet Black and Microlot.
