Omagoqa - a trio creating new wave gqom with the artistic intention to always let the masses feel the indigenous authenticity of sound. Their music showcases a version of gqom coined as ‘uThayela’, which translates literally as “corrugated iron” and is used to describe “a rougher sound with a harder bassline that it is made for clubs”. It's a proud testament to a love of South African creativity and music.

The group is made up of Andile Mazibuko (stage name Ma_A), Franco Makhathini (stage name KB) and Njabulo Sibiya (stage name Chase). 
The trio has been together for over 7 years and are a collaborative team that have worked alongside the likes of DJ Lag, Que DJ, Zvri, Jimbo Soundz, Cultivated Soulz, Scelo Gowane, Madanon , Dj Sandiso , Yanga chief & OKMALUMKOOLKAT. Omagoqa plays a raw sound, it can be aggressive and dark, but there isn’t a moment when the crowd isn’t giving it all back. They pull elements from EDM, Electronic & Dance/House to bring their unique music to life, having recently released their EP - Feel The Bass.

Omagoqa is cementing their name in the music industry, they’ve performed at events like Ballantines Boiler Room and their sound and energy already has a solid reputation in the South African music and nightlife scenes. It's difficult not to have a good time at their performances, if you didn’t come to dance, the night isn’t going to go to plan. The collective's ambition is international and they’re planning on pushing that agenda aggressively.

Musician and studio producer Brian Wallace is known for his Saxophone work with a wide variety of artists from the west coast.  From his early days with Sublime (40oz to Freedom) to current titles, he strives for soul and rhythm in the Los Angeles music scene.  He works under the name Dubrobot and enjoys a long term association with Scientist as his mix assistant.  Brian produces music and artists in Burbank at Majestic Sound Studios where creativity, time and space collide with spectacular results. DUBROBOT is an art car that houses his dub mixing sound system and attracts musicians from all over the world.

Christian Duka is a multifaceted music and sound artist who works primarily with spatial audio. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists across various disciplines, from free improvisation to contemporary digital dance to experimental and dance electronic music. Christian Duka is also a versatile DJ moving fluidly between experimental ambient realms and the physical energy of dance music — often blurring the line between the two in experimental ways: left-field bass, smokey dubbed-out jazzy jungle & dnb, psychedelic techno & trance for genre-fluid, bass-heavy, atmospheric, introspective and euphoric journeys.

Notable collaborative projects include the interdisciplinary work "UR: Human Presence" with Jose Macabra, Pell Ensemble, and Elyssavet Sfyri, the spatial drone-bath performance "The Listening Body" with Hems, Merkaba Macabre, and Pascal Savy, a series of live performances in collaboration with free improvisers such as John Butcher, Ute Kanngiesser, Lucie Stepankova, David Toop, Sharon Gal, and Aimee Theriot (4DSOUND), exploring the fusion of free improvisation and live electronics in three-dimensional audio, and the electronic music projects MARMO & Vādin with Marco Maldarella and Avsluta, respectively, with releases on various international record labels (Utter, Offen, Area127, Secuencias Temporales).

Beyond his own artistic projects, he taught electronic music, audio production and sound design at SAE London and Greenwich University and founded Amoenus, a non-profit organization that promotes and supports spatial sound in immersive arts through residency programs, workshops, and public events.
