Pull up a chair and grab yourself a stoney peroni for this feast of feasts, the inaugural Segreti Di Famiglia from Boots & Legs. A seven-course meal with dishes from B&L mainstays, as well as some new guests making especially saucy debuts. 

First up, Romain FX returns to the cobbler’s kitchen with ‘Neon Train’, plating up some weapons-grade machine grooves, garnished with hypnotic vocals - guaranteed to whet your appetite. GREETINGS follows up this electrifying entree the introduction of the enigmatic ‘Flavio Zoom’, a cosmic search through robust and considered flavours. Newcomer Sam In Space makes a splash with mid-meal workout ‘Aerobic’, charismatic dark disco with an athletic flair. Things take a turn for the sampladelic with the strange and playful mutant funk of ‘Pre Club’ by Club Sausages, before an all-time classic gets an imaginative Italo rework with ‘The Rhythm’ by Black Feeling. Kayroy teams up with Imogen Cygler for a palette cleansing contemplative chugger ‘Eggna’, with dreamy arpeggios building to a dreamy crescendo, before Pleasure Voyage present final course ‘Return’, a fitting sunset synth-pop soundtrack that’s the bittersweet like the perfect negroni.

Even though esteemed norwegian DJ Ole Martin Vilberg aka Omar V and Robin Craaford, one half of Dance Disorder with Baby G ( Bpitch, Eskimo ) are hardly young guns, they gang up together for the first time on "complete": a blinding cut that harks back to the time with good ol Jack was still the young buck and closely associated with uncle Electro Funk: tough beats, hyperactive claps, a jittering bass and a catchy, squeaking melody are still rattling bones if masterfully pieced together as it is done here. The A is a beefed-up take on a punchy European disco staple. An infectious groove is coupled with fluttering arpeggios and a rigorous bassline that builds tension throughout to deliver some peak-time power.

Oslo born Ole Martin Smuk-Vilberg has been Djing since the early 90's. In addition many know him as the record pusher behind the counter in legendary Norwegian record store HS Records.

With his distinctive good mixing skills and a sharpened ear for what works on the dance floor, it will be difficult to stand still when this man takes control.

When Omar plays smaller clubs, his style automatically becomes more eclectic, and the music he serves up in larger venues can be described as a good blend of House, Techno, Electro, Italo/Italoish and Acid. His style is known to be very versatile and he more or less always blend the past, present and future.

Omar has been producing and releasing records since 2010 and forward. His collaboration work and rmx stuff can be found on Full Pupp, The Freebooter Lounge and various labels.

Alternative bio:

Omar V (Ole Martin Smuk-Vilberg) is a DJ and producer from Oslo, Norway. His musical journey started in the late 70s when he fell in love with his dad's record collection. It was the sound of synthesizers that made the biggest impression.
At ten years old, he was making mixtapes at the local leisure club and all genres the 80s had to offer were included. At the age Of 16, his knowledge of music led to him landing his first job in one of Oslo's most important record stores at the time, working as head of dance music import.
The 90s were underway and so was his DJ career. With gigs around the world, releases on recognized labels and still a burning interest in making mixtapes, his musical range has only grown and the same can be said of his record collection.
