Enaim sheli - Eyes of mine

Nitsan-Khen Raz’el - violinist, singer & songwriter.  Born in Jerusalem in 1975 to a musical family. He graduated the Jerusalem  Music Academy, in 2000, with a bachelor's degree in violin performance and in classical composition in with Prof, Mark Kopytman. His has a unique violin playing style that combines Classical, Arabic, Jewish, Greeck, Indian, Afrikan Blues folk and Rock.  He performs with his band and as a solo artist with his new violin show - Ha'otsar (The Treasure) in which he plays, sings and tells his unique Jewish violin story.
In Addition he was a band member of two  pioneer Indie Israeli bands:  The Jewish Arab group “Josef & One” and the Eastern music ensemble - “Shacharit”. During the years ,Razel found interest in Jewish identity, Jewish and Folk music. He is a fan of Piyut ( Jewish sacred songs) singing and feels at home singing Yemenite, Morrocan, Iraqi, Syrian and Ashkenazi Piyutim.   He is among the founders of “Invitation to piyut” website.
In 2013 he released his first album - “Motse Makom” “Finding a Place”, which expresses his own personal and musical voyage  into the Jewish music. Some peculiar works in the albums are  based on the ancient Ashkenazic Piyutim (Jewish lithurgical songs ) that were never recorded and were almost forgotten. The Album was nominated for one of Israel best Jewish Music albums of the year 2013, by the “Shevi’i” newspaper. 
He  colaboratesand playes with some of Israel's Major artists like Ehud Banai, Shlomo Bar & Habrera Hativeet, Eti Ankri, Shuli Rand and others.
 Raz’el is married and has Six children, he lives in Ra’anana,Israel.
