As the we near the end of month, a new edition of VIBRATIO)))NS is now out, this time featuring my pal, partner-in-party hosting and terrific DJ: Eduardo aka @e_d_o

I met Edo at United Identities ADE in 2021, where he was rocking a limited edition Sounds Familiar shirt. He was front row and dancing his ass off, and I immediately knew we'd be friends then. At the time I was thinking of a way to revive Endless Boogie, a house party that I used to throw in Dubai, and relaunch in Stockholm. I wasn't really sure how I'd make it work, so when I found out that Edo was moving back to Sweden, I just knew I found the right person to collab with and create something with.

Endless Groove was the end result, a project that really combined our individual views of the ideal party in one setting. I'm so proud of what we've built with it, in the 2+yrs since we've started I think we've really shown that there is a different way for us to listen, to gather, to share and to move together. There is no way this would exist without Edo's dedication, insight and passion.

The real treat of it all though was getting to know Edo and his world. Everything I knew when I met him at Doka that night was confirmed: A lover of great music, and a person who loves sharing it with others. Not just music, but everything. I'm so very grateful for that chance meeting, he's a person I'm so fortunate to call a friend, and my life is a lot brighter with him in it.

Here are the words he wrote about this special mix

"First and foremost I wanted to record a good mix filled with good music. Eclectic but still with common features, and as always, full of jazzy and soulful elements. I have been quite stressed lately so I start it out very calm and smooth to put me in a relaxed state of mind before I slowly build it up towards a steady beat.
But I also aimed for it to be a deep listening session that tells somewhat of a story. I hope you will enjoy this journey as much as I did!

I am on the brink of the biggest change to ever happen in my life, I am about to become a father.
This has led my mind to gravitate towards very existential thoughts lately. I find myself deep diving into subjects like life, death, time, infinity and eternity. These thoughts have always been present but now more than ever since me and my wife are about to raise yet another self aware thoughtform on this earth. How mind bending is that? I still can't grasp it!

In my heart I have an overwhelming feeling of joy, excitement and curiosity. But of course it is mixed with fear and uncertainty. All of these feelings are important so I wanted all of them to be present in the music I selected when recording this.

I wanted this mix to somehow summarize all these thoughts I have in my brain and all these feelings I have in my heart. So if you listen carefully you'll hear that most of the vocals touch on similar subjects. The music is deep, soulful, joyful and sometimes mysterious, sad and full of tension. 

But always beautiful, just like life.

I hope this mix will make you smile, make you move and make you think.

By the way, there's a real treat for all of you who listen all the way to the end. Or should I say the beginning? I wanted to wrap up the mix with the track that always has me in tears. 9 minutes of pure magic that feels like crumbling together and metamorphosing into another dimension. 

Take a deep breath and sit tight for that one!
