Kicking off 2022, we are happy to announce the debut EP from italian producer & DJ Uabos. Known from his releases on Pordello A Parigi or Toytonics, Matteo Andrea Pepe (aka Uabos) delivers a stunning 3 track EP with the title „Soul On Soul“.
The EP starts impulsive, straight forward and with a catchy hook. ’Soul On Soul’ builds a bridge between Italo- Disco & modern Indie Dance. „It is a mystical trip between two lovers. It is the union of two souls, joined in a past life and now reunited. It is a circle that closes, Matteo claims.
Continuing with a travel back in time, ’M&P Frontier' is a mixture 90’s House & Rave, flavored with a splash of Euro Dance. Fittingly Uabos describes: The track goes back to my origins. It's journey throughout my life since I met electronic music... just in a new version.
Closing the EP with another top tune, that could easily also be the A-Side of this package, 'Illusion' sails mood wise in more happy waters. Though it might be less impulsive, it isn’t less catchy than the previous tunes. „Illusions are the specters that live in each of us. They are the distorted existences that we impose on ourselves. It is their frequency that makes us wake up and understand true reality.“, Uabos explains about the idea behind it.
'Illusion' is a trip between trance and Italo- Disco, another fresh tune to heat up the dance floor.

Turkish producers Ferruh Berk and Olgay Neke team up for their debut EP on My Choice Recordings with 2 original tracks and a remix from label boss SouveQ.

Rules Of The Disco Queen is a combination of complicated melodic bassline and a live guitar which drives melodies into evolving sound.

Entrée is a classic italo disco sound which would make you heat the night with bouncy bassline and arpeggios!

Last but not least the closing track is a remix for Entrée by SouveQ, who takes the original into a more clubby version with some additional arps.

British DJ and producer, Wallace, debuts on Disco Halal with the two track EP ‘Contact’. Across both tracks, the artist showcases an eclectic taste for left-field dance music, that continuously offers the dancefloor a sense of the unexpected. On the title track, the artist delivers a peak time hit that’s driven by a thumping bassline and layers of instrumentation that’s almost hypnotising in its design. Whilst ‘Ragaman’ looks to the east for inspiration, in what’s a truly left-field interpretation of indie-dance which fits perfectly with the label’s Middle Eastern roots.

On his thought process behind the EP, Wallace states: “During a year of lockdown I found myself really struggling for the inspiration which I usually find in nature & cities. Instead, I decided to try & dream up new places & capture how they would feel. Both ‘Contact’ & ‘Ragaman’ were born from these visions. I really wanted to try & express the joy of everyone coming together again & inject this energy into the music.”

Such a diverse sound has resulted from a life dedicated to music. Wallace spent 5 years running club nights in Edinburgh and has since put all his energy into his own productions. The resulting left-field aesthetic stemmed from a unique upbringing, where the artist was exposed to sounds across the world thanks to two parents who loved music and nature respectively. The result is ‘Contact’, a journey through dance music that spans continents and cultures alike, where the artist takes aspects from his own travels and delivers something that’s truly personal to him, which has proved to be equally powerful on the dance floor.

In early 2020 Niv Ast released the monstrous “Beau Chien” on Optimo Music Digital Danceforce, just as the world was shutting down. 
This year he returns to a re-opened world with “ Le Retour Du Chien”, a monstrous continuation of the theme, though this time the theme is ACID. Niv’s 303 is set to stun here and then half way through a surprise Discoid bomb goes off. 
The other two tracks are Acid dance machines whose sole purpose is to make people move, and of course put a smile on their face. BOOM!
