Performance poet, activist and playwright Penn Kemp is London, Ontario’s inaugural Poet Laureate. Her most recent works are Local Heroes (Poetry, Spring 2018), The Dream Life of Teresa Harris (Drama, 2017) and Barbaric Cultural Practice (Poetry, 2016). She is prolific in many genres, from poetry to essays, drama and multimedia as well as performance and spoken word.
