Katie Ellie is a new up and coming pop indie artist from Bradford, UK. She began writing songs at the age of 9 and kept them to herself as a diary, capturing her thoughts, dreams and life experiences. Her songs became a door way into a world of imagination where there were no limits, one she could create to overcome the onset of stress and worries growing up in a changing world.

In 2014 she gathered up her courage and posted a 30 second demo of one of her original songs on a social site. She was encouraged by all the positive feedback. That gave her confidence the boost to write more songs and share them online with the beginnings of her fan base.

Later in November 2014 Katie recorded “Miss Lionheart” in a studio working with a local producer. The song was an instant success and was played on the BBC Radio station “BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire”. It quickly made it’s way to radio in the United States and Katie became featured artist on stations along with interviews.

In April 2015 “Miss Lionheart” was nominated by the Hollywood Music Awards for the Best Alternative song for 2015. The HMMA ceremony is scheduled for Nov 19, 2015 in Hollywood, CA. Katie has grown as an artist and her confidence is evident with more songs being recorded, producers contacting her and more stations adding her music to their playlist.
