As the second installment of the 12inch series on the German Eine Welt label, the two musicians Alexander Arpeggio and Nixxon who has previously worked and released music under the moniker “Ekstern”, tasted the wonderful Künefe cake for the first time on an autumn evening in Berlin. They got so excited about the sweet cheesy taste that they wrote a song about it. An up-tempo dance floor banger with a punchy bass line,  synthesizer melodies, and vocals describing the middle eastern flavors that had tickled their tongues. 
On the B-side you’ll find Op beni Künefe as the down-tempo track with Turkish inspired melodies on top of a steady drum machine beat. Istanbul artist Hilal Can interprets the concept with sensual vocals as the sweet syrup on top of the crunchy pastry. The whole process of making the record took its time, but now it’s ready to be served. And served hot!

Dva Damas (pronounced duvva damas) were the first act to release a record on Downwards America, the new US offshoot of Karl ‘Regis’ O’Connor’s now two-decades-old, Birmingham-born label. Downwards America is being operated by John Mendez, O’Connor’s long time cohort and collaborator in Sandwell District; and it was Mendez who, after attending Dva Damas’s first public live show in 2009, signed them on the spot to record their debut single.

Vego Gam is lo-fi Spaghetti Western, full of tape delay and amplifier sauce, while Pulse waves and wind chimes ring Russian bells on the title track, Kalacol - a mind-melding dancefloor gem.

Hell Yeah Recordings are pleased to announce they have been tempted into the reissue market. As such, the label starts a new off shoot, PERDIO (roughly meaning ‘lost’ in Portuguese) which will focus on putting out re-issues and new remixes of classic or forgotten gems. The fist one is a newly remastered instrumental version and new Francisco Dub of Giorgia Morandi’s ‘Children of the Sky’, a cover of the italo-classic “Figli delle Stelle by Alan Sorrenti which just happened to be released 40 years ago. 
 
The label has been two years in the planning and all started when label boss Marco was at the Gratis Club season closing party a few years ago when cult Italian figure Francisco (of Edizioni Mondo/Jolly Music) was DJing. “At some point, he came out with the instrumental of this tune, and I was in heaven,” remembers Marco. “It was a super cheap Italo 12" from Ala Bianca in Italy, a “bad” cover of Figli delle Stelle... I asked Francisco if he was up for editing the track in case I got rights, and here we are.”
 
The brilliant , remastered, original is seven sizzling minutes of elastic Italo house with happy chords that reach for the skies. Naive melodies and keys add to the colourful effect and cannot help to sweep your heart and get your feet tapping, especially with the rugged bassline that probs it up and the big drums that help drive it along. The special Francisco Dub Edit then builds and builds leaving the main hook for the very end... when it arrives you will be sent into raptures of Italo joy.

Every show of the band witnesses the miracle of dreamy neo-kraut-psychedelic flowers growing out of the amplifiers. In order to transfer bits of this miracle on the club dancefloors 6 remixes were created by present and new "Partyzanai Pop" label artists. Having collaborated over the years in several projects, Endless Illusion and brokntoys join forces for a trilogy of EPs to showcase unique talent across the globe. Meeting somewhere across both label's middle grounds, the first volume of Human Abstracts captures an array of international players operating at the fringes of the 'floor'. Colombian duo Vltra Delta Drive kick off the EP with the tense, body-propelled El Complot. Santoine builds up the drama with the uneasy, percussive Transmission. Closing the Aside, Outermost brings his trademark ominous sounds in Mystic River. On the flip, cult favourite Konsistent weaves narcotic grooves on Paranoid Humanoid. After his knockout contribution for Move's launch EP, Black Propaganda brings the EP to a close with the utopian Instrument Of Liberation.
