As the second installment of the 12inch series on the German Eine Welt label, the two musicians Alexander Arpeggio and Nixxon who has previously worked and released music under the moniker “Ekstern”, tasted the wonderful Künefe cake for the first time on an autumn evening in Berlin. They got so excited about the sweet cheesy taste that they wrote a song about it. An up-tempo dance floor banger with a punchy bass line,  synthesizer melodies, and vocals describing the middle eastern flavors that had tickled their tongues. 
On the B-side you’ll find Op beni Künefe as the down-tempo track with Turkish inspired melodies on top of a steady drum machine beat. Istanbul artist Hilal Can interprets the concept with sensual vocals as the sweet syrup on top of the crunchy pastry. The whole process of making the record took its time, but now it’s ready to be served. And served hot!

Nixxon - Kaitai

Cyborg Rhetoric aka Dan Cella (fka Dan Carraway, GlowTape!) has been producing and releasing electronic music for nearly two decades. His eclectic catalogue ranges in genre from house and techno to electro and blog house. His debut, full-length album, 'Tales From The Encrypt'-out on CHP Recordings-is a love letter to the internet and the sounds he grew up with in South Florida.
