Chainsaw Man, also known as Oscar Romo (@oscar-romo), resides in Valladolid where he developed a passion for music through wind instruments and the influence of older friends' tapes in his teenage years. He avidly followed Sonia Briz's Radio3 sessions which allowed him to expand his diverse musical interests and lean towards electronic genres. Oscar has been collecting hardware instruments like synthesizers and drum machines to create his own music in his spare time for quite some time. Recently, he released a track on the esteemed electro label, Bass Agenda Recordings. Several upcoming projects are also in the pipeline, in the meantime, enjoy this podcast!

Four more lively, lovely electro offerings from Plant 43, the second in a limited edition series of EPs focussed on tracks written over the course of the winter of 2022/23. Opener (and our premiere) 'Submolecular Shifting' is bright and bubbly, joining the dots between Kraftwerk and Model 500, while 'Eccentric Elliptical Orbit' follows on slower and more grandiose, echoing early New Order's icy cool synth sounds. 'Encased' has a more otherworldly Aphex-like feel, although the juddering, on-off bass keeps it plugged into the dancefloor. 'The Forgotten Storm' closes proceedings, more low key again and graced with ethereal, adding angelic choirs. Energised enough and streamlined enough to be good dancefloor gear, but expertly executed and, as ever, brimming with enough personality to be a decent home listen as well.

This new full length album is another testament to Olivia's unrivaled artistry and her ability to traverse the boundaries, how she uses it, turn it upside down and mutated electro, techno, industrial and EBM genres in her own way.

We open a new season of gladiocast series with German Angst, a rather mysterious DJ-Team operating on the axis between the North Rhine-Westphalian art metropole Dusseldorf and East Germany's Electro capital Leipzig. Since 2019 the two DJs, which like to stay unknown, try to connect the dots between east and west - focussing on classic and real electro, played straight from wax. In the past years they had appearances at Callshop Radio (Leipzig) and Tarmac Festival (Allstedt). Enjoy this fantastic mix.


Abrimos una nueva temporada de la serie gladiocast con German Angst, un equipo de DJ bastante misterioso que opera en el eje entre la metrópolis artística de Renania del Norte-Westfalia, Düsseldorf, y la capital Electro de Alemania del Este, Leipzig. Desde 2019, los dos DJs, a los que les gusta permanecer desconocidos, intentan conectar los puntos entre el este y el oeste, centrándose en el electro clásico, mezclando solamente en formato vinilo.
