Dalmata Daniel is back with their lathe cut series' new episode and this 10inch is the forth in the line, but it's also a return of UK-based synth duo.

Teachers, a duo made up of two real-life secondary school teachers, turn into some lyrical, gloomy beautiful vocoder-oriented pop music.

Alex Keefe & Joakim Kristiansen first vinyl came out on Willie Burns' W.T. Records where Alex already released his solo under the Tagwell Woods moniker. The deep emotional musical journey is continuing on DDE04 as well.

Gladio Operations inaugurates 2023 with its seventh release titled “Split Machine”, a new series of shared EPs, where in this first episode the producers Jauzas The Shining and Cycloplex go halves on the EP.

The French producer returns to Gladio with three cuts which possess his peculiar and characteristic rugged sound. The EP launches with "Business Machines” and “Isla De Encanto”, two powerful cuts with aggressive and noticeable basslines filled-up with dark textures. Jauzas gifts us a last cut titled “Equation”, a nod to the EBM sound, where he preserves the same darkness as in the previous cuts.

On side B we encounter the Spanish producer Francisco Aguado, who has recently released his first work under the "Cultivated Electronics" label under his new electro alias, Cycloplex. With two cuts titled “Intercepted” and “Acid Machine”, Cycloplex reveals his particular minimalist vision of electro sound in an abstract journey of excellent monotonous rhythms.

'Jesus Is Watching' is Fonome's latest release, coming out in July on his own FONOS.

Fonome, formerly part of Seville’s legendary Union Records, is a well known figure of the Spanish underground scene, mixing a blend of Techno, Electro and darker sounds in his productions. With his latest release, JESUS IS WATCHING, Alfonso uses music to talk about humanity's duality: do we believe in the almighty gods and own the knowledge of truth, or do we believe in aliens and watch a lot of 90's movies and are therefore influenced by this imaginary?

The whole album is a mix of ambient, Electronica, Techno, Electro that conceptually are expressing Fonome's anger, doubts, thoughts. For example, Charlatan (the album's first single), is an attack to failed politicians and their actions. In the tracks you can hear samples of different speeches used to show the negative impact these are having on our society. 

The LP is a solid collection of tracks inspired not only by the philosophy behind the various concepts but also by Fonome's life working in the port amongst machineries, industrial equipment etc, that clearly are having an impact on the sound palette Alfonso has used whilst producing the tracks.

'Jesus Is Watching' comes out on July on FONOS. Keep an eye on the singles.

DTP#22 - Tygre

Machine Cult is an electronic music platform hosted by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe. Functions on one side as a record label. On the other, an event series. The launch party will be taking place in OT301 (Amsterdam) on the 25th of November. The purpose is to showcase a part of what the local and international scene the Netherlands has to offer. Hereby presenting Edition One.

Scouring from the surfaces of Amsterdam and Rotterdam comes out six original tracks composed by the following artists. Déandrah (AMS), Garçon Taupe (AMS), marienus (RTM), Moodswings (AMS), The Spy (AMS) and xceptor (RTM).

In a world where we have too many choices, but not enough guts to pursue any of them, motivational speaking and councillors become the next billionaires, to inject the fearful with confidence so that they may excel at their passion and make the world a better place by self-adoration, collaboration and not competition.
Intricacies of noise, self-development of taste and homages to past times, the edition before you is a compilation of works from newcomers and scene veterans. Having captured the face of a pseudo-mentalist, these artists have noted the effect of the long exposure to sound that may have affected their biomechanical characteristics. 
For a while, you will discover new things, and it is all so exciting and fresh, because this altered state gives you new perception, in and hindsight.  Music theory, out of all things, can also have some pretty nasty effects on your body. All of it can mean you can start suffering long before you become a musician.
You’ll probably start looking ill, losing weight and feeling like you might deserve it.You’ll begin to play instruments not to get high anymore, but only because that is your new standardised norm. You simply don’t know what else to do. As you lose control of your body’s health you could eventually lose control over your mind too. 
Until  one day you’ll wake up knowing that, instead of continuing investing yourself in your instruments, they slowly become controlling towards you. So, if a friend invites you to a jam session, use your brain, while you still can. And just, say, yes.
