The first thing you notice about Evangeline’s sound is a sense of upbeat darkness. Like being at a party where no one’s smiling, but it somehow still makes you want to get up and dance. Moody electro-pop at its best. 
Evangeline’s moment came in February 2016, when a remix by LA producer William Black of her recent hit ‘My Kingdom’ was premiered online to rave reviews from various tastemaker sites, skyrocketing her from the local spotlight to the global stage. Racking up over 3 million plays on YouTube, Soundcloud, and Spotify, reaching #4 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart, and achieving Top 10 placements in several countries (including #4 in the US), the track made Evangeline a hot commodity amongst international major labels, providing a glimpse of the incredible success that is certain to come.
