I'm Jean Paul Coffy, born on 06/15/1975 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. I started touring the world at the age of 19 years old representing my country through cultural exchange, with the renowned Haitian Roots band Boukman Eksperyans, until relocating here in Chicago, with my family in 2003. Since then I've been a piano teacher, worked and created soundtracks and scores, Conducted Classical/Haitian/Afro-Beat workshops for several universities world wide. I've Recreated and performed the entire Wizard Of OZ play for theatre across the US.

As the Musical Director at the child care center, I am responsible for creating and maintaining an up to date customized educational music curriculum for children birth to five years of age. Integral to the weekly musical program, is the use of educational manipulative in conjunction with musical instruments to teach language, numbers, and developmentally appropriate concepts.
Additionally, I create and maintain a catalog of educational music for which I composed the lyrics. The songs have varying themes including seasons, family, counting, love, etc.
