Following years of masked anonymity, hard-hitting dance producer Tokyo Machine drops a voice reveal for his latest project, the aptly named ‘FACTORY RESET’ EP. It’s designed to be “a wall of sound smacking you in the face,” he tells SoundCloud in this exclusive commentary. “Everything sits on the edge of falling apart, exactly how I like it.” The track “THE FURIOUS” will “hopefully make the hair on your neck curl,” he says. Additionally, “MVP” was built “to make people feel they just unlocked God mode,” and “WATCH OUT!” is “a perfect way to end, on a high-stakes note.” Listen now.

On her third album, ‘Beneath the Lilypad,’ dream pop singer-songwriter Alexandra Savior finds a new perspective. Working with producer Drew Erickson (Father John Misty, Lana Del Rey), she’s created a dark and moody soundtrack to a life of introspection. In this exclusive commentary, Savior discusses the making of tracks from the album. She explains how “Goodbye, Old Friend” was the North Star for the record, both sonically and thematically, while the track “Old Oregon” is an homage to the place where she grew up.
