GHEIST are a Berlin-based production and live band, who’ve been conquering some of the city’s best known dancefloors one party at a time for the past three years.  They’re also regulars at one of Berlin’s landmark venues, Watergate, where they kickstarted the project, and since have experienced a meteoric rise, wowing audiences across the globe with their rich and emotive sound. Fusing progressive with house and techno textures, the German natives have forged a deep, melodic sound of their own, which is melancholic and euphoric in equal measure. 

The four-member band, who have played a number of clubs and festivals, have built a reputation as a versatile group, alternating between a full-on live performance and a hybrid DJ set. 

As every good live act, GHEIST’s prowess in the booth stems from their incredible studio productions, which have landed them on various imprints, including Sasha’s seminal Last Night On Earth and Solomun’s DIYNAMIC.

As a natural continuation of their artistic vision and sound aesthetics, GHEIST launched their own imprint, Radau Records, in April 2018. Radau, meaning “noise” in German, gives a more intimate feel to GHEIST’s delicate yet powerful sound, as every aspect of the release  – from the sound production to the artwork – is created by GHEIST themselves.

Just a few months after joining the People & Machines artist roster, GHEIST landed their debut release on DIYNAMIC, Arrival EP, and played their first gig at Solomun+Live at the sun-kissed Destino Ibiza in July 2019. With more exciting releases on the horizon and an increasingly busy touring schedule, it’s clear that we’ve yet to see what GHEIST are really capable of.

Luis Alvarado is the dj with more gay school within the Mexican market. He began his career in 1989 playing for the best gay clubs in Mexico such as May Day, Shadee, Box Versailles, Box Polanco and a successful season in Angels Club GDL.

Throughout his career he has played in the best clubs of the Mexican republic such as Box City, Living City, Angels Club GDL, GDL Black Cherry, Leon GTO Club Nation.

He has shared stages and tórnamelas with Dj’s number one in the gay world like: Offer Nissim, Peter Rauofer, Yinon Yahel, Dudi Sharon. And DJ’s Latinos as Luis Erre, Jose Spinnin and Brian Reyes.

He has participated in many events that are the “First Pride Party GDL” the “J & V Circuit Bay” in Puerto Vallarta, “Level Party” City, “Circuit Boys Red Party” City and “Sugar Rush Party” in GDL.

Over the years, Louis has transformed his style to the more diverse genres ranging from Vocal House, Progressive House, Electro and the Tribal (genus that adopted with great skill). With its unique style and exclusive edits has captivated all audiences both gay and heterosexual.

Producer and creator of hit singles such as “I Love …” single in 2009 was named one of the best releases of that year in the U.S. being the first Mexican to be on that list.

MEA Mater and the great worldwide hit “Model” easier than in a year has achieved worldwide recognition. Named the main theme of the 20-year career in the international model Naomi Campbell.

In Europe at this time in the top of the charts. This theme was chosen to serve on the CD “Circuit, International Gay & Lesbian Event” which is the official CD Group Matinee biggest party gay in Europe, with Louis the first dj and producer Mexico to join the cast of these CD’s collection.

He has also played in circuit parties all over Mexico. He has shared stages with Tracy Young, Chris Cox, Mark Anthony, Hex Hector, DJ Paulo, Offer Nissim, Nick Terranova, Peter Rauhofer and Yinon Yahel.His sound has evolved, ranging from House, Progressive and NYC Hard House to Tribal and Electro House. He has recently joined forces with Jose Spinnin Cortes to make original music. Listen to him live, and you ́ll realize why Luis Alvarado is considered one of the pivotal pieces of the Mexican gay circuit scene.
