Greetings, Virescence Records presents its next release in digital format, a work curated by Mod.1 incl Pvrv. remix. 

When we speak of a polar vortex we refer to a large area of low pressure that forms close to the poles of the Earth. Normally, this polar vortex is more prevalent at the north pole. This area of low pressure contains intense cold air that makes temperatures drop dramatically.

For this new work, the Spanish artist Mod.1 presents us with a musical exhibition, which can easily make us feel that cold sensation in the body when listening to the incredible sound nuance embodied in his EP for virescence records, and to complement this great proposal a remix of the House artist Pvrv. we end up getting into that incredible panorama presented in our reference VR009.

Korean artist Soseol is a founder of the underground music label "Amament Records" and he had made several musical events and project albums through years with the dedicated focuses on the cultural diversity of electronic music scene of South Korea.

He has his own point of view about "Techno" as a part of whole "Electronic Music" itself, and his performances and tracks keep express on those kind of progressive aspect.

Composed of a variety of designed sounds, his works emanate sensibly and intensely, stirring people’s emotions by grafting original creation of elemental sources and independent standards. Soseol’s intrinsic self-expression and central message are deeply embodied in his works.

For the 10th Monday Off release, label boss Mary Yuzovskaya curates four hypnotic cuts from a host of top tier techno talent.
Leading the A-side is ‘Schaefer Conclave’, a collaboration between Mary Yuzovskaya and NYC-based Twice As Proper events founder Craft. With pulsating low end, evolving pads, and delicate percussion, the duo have created an exceptional cut of deep techno. Following is Italian DJ/producer Ruhig’s ‘A Perfect Vacuum’, eschewing 4/4 patterns for rumbling syncopation and trippy synthesis throughout.
On the flip, Yuzovskaya goes solo with ‘Panic Season’, turning in a masterfully hypnotic track taking in dense percussions, eerie tones, and engulfing atmospherics. Rounding out the release, Monday Off regular and Polish DJ/producer Blazej Malinowski delivers ‘Mist’, a driving and propulsive track with shimmering production, sending listeners into a deeply satisfying musical wormhole.

Petit Astronaute - Cave Of Sorrows

The lives of a coastal made of concrete city on the edge of the sea. are suddendly interrupted by the arrival of some unknown visitors from the sky. An increase in radiation and several human errors, drive the city to be declared as exclusion zone.
The sea is dyed red. Several supernatural anomalies populates the zone as a mine field, preying on any form of human life with no mercy.
The outdoor sirens warns a natural disaster. Roars and metallic sounds come from the sky. The sky is falling.
The natural environment is totally transformed as an intelligent entity. Unknown and abstract. All forms of life, flora and fauna are touched by a cosmic mutation.
Abandonment.
Fascination.
This is the sound of the exclusion zone. This is the sound of the anomalies, the climatic emisions, the warning sirens, the sound of the unknown.

A fictional inspired by the Strugatsky brothers' Roadside Picnic, and the Tarkovsky's STALKER universe. The seventh :knotzept: canonical release is the Notzing project reinterpretation of these classical science fiction artworks in sound design key. A rejected and discarded work order due to its weirdness, an ununderstandable work that finally is released under the Knotzept institution.

Since 2017, Minjoon has been fascinated by the joining of his painting awareness and primitive techno. His theme is to find an
ambiguous balance based on the extreme paradoxes of "Unfamiliar familiar". Ambiguous colors are not a visual sense, but appeal to another sense of energy.

Minjoon is also currently working as a designer/artist at Artscope. After his first debut EP in 2021, he has been continuously searching for the sound he has.
