Samantha Blackburn - In The Back Of My Mind..

Spilt Milk the label behind some of London’s best parties step out with their 3rd release. 

Four tracks skillfully put together by St. Bernard, who gives us 2 original cuts, that we see expertly flipped by Tred Benedict and Alexi Delano, who round out the EP in superbly low-slung fashion.

When You Do opens proceedings with a flourish of shimmering washed out dub stabs almost delicately placed over the marching beat. St. Bernards opening track conjures up progressive but full on rhythm with dubbed out hats that make this one, really take the lead. A versatile opener that really brings you in.

Tred Benedict's remix sees things stripped right back to the core. No emotive stabs here, the vocal turns hypnotic and repetitive. The focus is on an infectious groove that’s sure to keep the floors rolling, in the repetition grows a certain beauty.

Alexi Delano closes up the remixes up with his fierce tech house assault with a seriously trippy take on the original. Freaky synth work and surreal modulation remove the hypnotic style of Tred's remix and offers up a more acid trip.

Vince Street closes up the EP. A straight up roller built for those hot, late and sweaty dancefloors, who are ready to go hard into it.  Minimal, aggressive and subby this track flips the script with the EP and adds that extra element that a great EP needs.

For the third single release in his Collaborator project, Martin Buttrich teams up with DJ Tennis for a joint production. 
‘Perpetual’ eases the listener through an introduction of haunting synth keys slowly building into a crisp drum rhythm and chilling vocal sample, a recognizable style of both Martin’s and DJ Tennis’ studio work. Released on vinyl 24th June and digitally available on 8th of July. 
Previous Collaborations in the project consist of 'Synchronicity' with Mathew Jonson and 'New Game' with Guti.

Two Northern Italians, Jacopo Ottini and Marco Saudella, comprise this new young duo, AB. Playing musical instruments from a young age, AB have a solid foundation and structure in their dub, house, and techno inspired compositions. Their Disco A Disco B EP busts out the old school house vibe with hi-hat disco influences. Disco A brings the heavy old school 90s house flava along with super heavy hi-hats that make you want to jack yo' body body, jack yo' body body. Disco B is once again heavy on the hi-hats adjoined with a thumpin' bassline plus little pops of 90s nostalgia.
