This is a draft of a song I call, “Admission to The Louvre. With this song it started off as “when the working day is all done”. I wanted that to be the pinnacle of where I was bouncing metaphors towards; highlighting only the depletion of the love others gave me verses balancing neutrality in healing and understanding humans are humans and though boundaries are set and your voice should be spoken/heard; there is good and there is bad, but both can be true. So when you take your first step after you were shattered in cold still light it’s like ripping off a turtleneck sweater you were forced to wear at a “Christmas in July” party. I forgot what a luxury breathing air was up until the moment I exhaled; freedom was mine with truth. In truth my closure looks a lot like going to the Lourve for the day. Looks a lot like a place beautiful things are kept but you get to walk away from and the place stays beautiful. Lyrics in this song are referencing a painting by George Braque called Les Oiseaux (The birds) located at the Louvre that I love. Birds, moons, stars? What’s not to love.. best part you have to look up to see it 🌚🌟🕊

In hues they play a joyful remembrance

I’m assuming she’s Tom Waits 3rd cousin twice removed or she was like sitting in a ￼corner waiting too long and the town was just like yeah we are just gonna call her that. Either way I have been trying to writer her song for years and randomly she wrote herself so cheers to that and here’s to the zero base draft of her song.
