it was only after i wrote, recorded, and published this song that I realized that figs do not exactly swell out of flowers.  Please forfig me.

Been writing a lot of slooooooow music lately, so this was a circuit breaker. And an excuse to check out the latest free notation software options as i cant really justify paying for  Finale or Sibelius as I dont write much stuff like this these days. This software is called musescore - was one of the better ones i played with; easy to navigate but of course with 'free' comes some pretty rough sampled instruments. Okay back to the slow stuff and thankfully the restart of rehearsing in person now the lockdowns are easing : )

Imaginary Duet #2 for Piano and Percussion

A collaboration with Torbjørn Vagle and Jimmy Rivas.
Torbjorn sent me a demo of the track and asked if I would like to contribute, he said it was a truly open collab and at that point hadn’t decided whether it would be an instrumental or not.  I added my guitars to the track and sent a rough mix back to Torbjørn, it was then that he thought it would be good to add vocals.  We asked Jimmy if he would like to write lyrics and add his vocal to the track as we thought his voice would lift the track to another level, it certainly did!
It has been great fun and a real honour to collaborate with Torbjørn and Jimmy on this one, thanks also to session drummer John O’Reilly Jr. for his outstanding contribution.
Finished off by a superb painting, ‘Voices’ by Torbjørn Vagle, for use as the cover art, here is....... ‘Voices’.

And as i am keen on sharing this magic (well i usually dont make a big deal out of my birthday)moment with you , i present a new full analog crazy experimental track to you.

This one is especially to be understood (for sure in any way you, as the listener want to), haha, as the synth is kinda parteying with me.. all alone.  If you listen closely... you might discover, that its one of these partys, where not all are having fun.... LOL. Oh wait.. WHO BROUGHT THAT DOG!!!!??!?!

All sounds done with the fresh unpacked Behringer Crave... and damn i was craving to fetch myself a piece of analog gear with the CEM3440 chip..... i had to send back 3 neutron, as all of them had the same issue ..... so i sadly gave up on that idea.... but.... as this little crazy experimental tune shows... this thing is capable of soooo many dope sounds..... i love it!!!!

Short update on anyone who cares... i am working intense on my new soundcloud banner... it will be a real visual experience... hehe.
