2AM Session 020: Friend Or Foe

I thought it would be fun to release a project revolving the sound of the 303. Jams just because I recorded myself jamming with the acid machine and worked on making them into 2 fun tracks.

This is a song I wrote for the Friendly Music Jam (https://itch.io/jam/friendly-music-jam).

The theme I chose was to create something reflecting the image in the centre of the artwork.

I decided to contrast the feeling of a pretty landscape with the feeling of monotony from it being your daily life and it being something you're seeing on a regular commute.

i decided to only do the first prompt, which was to make a song based off of the thumbnail. i found that it was serene, but also sort of melancholic--sort of like an old memory.
