Four guys from Cologne, hobby musicians all, but with a long band experience, no longer very young, but still hungry ... want to go on stage!
Taken up about 2011 in a classic rock line-up vocals / guitar / bass / drums, NOAH & THE ARK ROTTEN sound melancholic sometimes, then scary, or solemn - but always intense and completely under the skin.
With drummer Benjamin, bassist Manuel and singer Michael, guitarist and songwriter Florian gathered a group of experienced musicians around him, to give his singer/songwriter material - still soaked with the grunge feel from the muddy waters of his youth, but often weird, with twisted bars and jazz chords - an attractive, mature stage sound.
NOAH & THE ROTTEN ARK aren't loud, do not play acrobatic solos and won't put the heat on a dance floor - they are after the listener's soul, or, as in the keynote song "Tear Vampires": "It's our favorite drink , to us it's like champaign / but if you dropped them in the sink, we played all in vain "...
