Formed in late June 2012 by lead vocalist Seth Bell,rhythm guitarist Ryan Craig, and bassist Jake Bates, Ashes Armada has experienced a meteoric rise to prominence among their peers in the talent-rich southern Iowa music scene. After releasing their groove-laden debut single, "Knock Off", in April of 2013, drummer Travis McCammant left the band. New drummer Zach Bates joined in May,  followed by lead guitarist Trevor Fitzpatrick in June,  and the band began writing new material immediately. Bands Ashes Armada has shared the stage with: Hurt, Righteous Vendetta, Dead Horse Trauma, 20 Foot Forehead, The Austin Taft Soundtrack, The Boomstick Revival, This Sudden Darkness, Black Star Alliance, As For You, and many others.
