Here's a short chiptune version of one of my favorite Pokemon town themes, Nuvema Town! (in case you're wondering, my absolute favorite is Azalea Town from Gen. 2). It's more than a cover, so I'm calling it a remix. Perhaps it's more aptly labeled a "rearrangement," but that doesn't flow off the tongue as well as remix. I went all out to make it sound like a Gen. 1 theme. I even made the retro sprites in the bump art :P

As a music nerd, I like to imagine how songs sound in different meters. When I first heard the theme of Nuvema Town, I fell in love, and instantly started reimagining it. I've been sitting on a march interpretation of the song for years now, but I lack both a personal band and an expertise of high-end music software. So, instead I used FamiTracker. It's not REALLY a march anymore, but I love the ringing bell texture of it, so I'm proud of the finished product.
