[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the sixtieth-first release of Launch Records. This time we have a new track by Roads We Walk, called ‘Tell Me’.

The song starts immediately with a vocal together with some chords. In the background, some atmospheric sounds are added to give more body at the start. Besides the atmospheric sounds, a drum loop together with a clap is added. After a while, this drum loop with clap stops so you only hear the chords, the vocal, and the atmospheric sounds. At the end of this part, a drum loop is added which has an uplifting rhythm. This is the build-up of the track.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a chill house track. In this drop, you hear the same chords which were used at the beginning of the track. To give more body to the drop, these chords are followed with a really energetic melody line. To give more variation to the drop a drum loop and vocal are added. This drop is just perfect for the summer nights and to shuffle on. Hereby all sounds which are used are self-designed.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release together with Roads We Walk who has created his own style which is really original.
