[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the sixtieth release of Launch Records. This time we have an EP by Feylo, called ‘Tunnetama’. The EP contains 2 tracks called ‘Tunnetama’ and ‘Body’.

The second track of the EP called Body starts immediately with a drum loop followed by a kick. After a while chords are being added together with a vocal. The chords are playing in the background of the drum loop. When the drum loop stopped, the only two layers you hear are the chords and vocals. This is when the build-up starts. In the background of the build-up, you hear a really subtle hit in the background.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a calm deep house track. The same chords are playing in the drop together with the vocal. Feylo also uses some vocal chops in the drop to give more variation to the vocal. To give more power to the drop, a baseline is added together with some atmospheric sounds. On top of that, a kick is added with a calm rhythm as well.

Inside this EP you hear just a few instruments that are used in both tracks. In this way, you really hear the beauty of all instruments. Hereby all sounds which are used are self-designed. All these aspects which are used in the tracks make the track a real Launch release.
