This is the second song posted from the album Bitzone, Stricknice, Wou-Wou & the Wormling, and I have been working on together with a number of other friends on SoundCloud. The first song shared was the late 80s indie American underground inspired song, Ghosting Out, that include Bonetender joining with his transistor organ and guitar. The Show / The Shrike Pt. 3 is one of the 4 songs on the album inspired by Wou-Wou & the Wormling’s graphic novel, the Shrike, which inspired this project. 

Massive thanks to Carlos Vivanco and Belial Pelegrim for joining us on this track. This is the 2nd song Belial has joined me on and the first song I have had the privilege of working with Carlos on. It is amazing to have them both on the same track together. I feel so lucky to get to work with all my favorite musicians.

Not being a drummer or having access to a collaborating drummer very often I have been moving away from using the Logic Pro virtual drummer and playing the drum grooves on my keyboard. I have to admit it has given me added respect for the art as it is not easy (at least for me) to keep a consistent beat even for a few bars. For this I used the Vintage Breaks+ drum kit, but to get the deep sound applied the Space D reverb, which I then also used to give the same overall sound to all the stems. The bass is a Logic Baby Bass treated with a Full Stack guitar amplifier. For the vocal in the chorus I used a reverse Space D reverb to achieve the ghostly effect. Lyrically I think this song speaks for itself.

Some time ago John Baker (@ldchool) sent me this great backing track he created and asked me to play a lead break on it. After I did we recognized that this track strongly deserves vocals. So I sat down and searched for some words to get some lyrics together and thought of a melody to sing. Then asked my friend Marcus to come over and sing. We all are very satisfied with the result. Thanks to John's mixing skills and Marcus' voice it turned out quite nice.

“Just a Boy” is a haunting indie-blues track by Three Photons, crafted in response to a tragic local event. With raw vocals, analog warmth, and soulful instrumentation—including Jeff Roberts on bass and Andrew Borderick on B3 organ—the song captures the ache of senseless loss and the fragility of youth. Mixed with precision and emotional care, it stands as a sonic memorial: intimate, reflective, and deeply human.

A big thank you to Jeff Roberts and Andrew Borderick for playing on....."Just a Boy".

This sad and devastating local story has been on my mind for a long time.... I'm reminded about this tragedy nearly everyday as I run along the Mississippi Blvd and see the memorial.

Kate Bush's song "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" is one of my favourite songs from the 80's, so I thought I'd make a Kate Bush remix with some inspiration from Porter Robinson. When I see what’s happening around the world today, whether  it be the pandemic, the manipulations and constant lies being told by those in power, people turning against each other, fires, floods etc…..the air feels thick with anger and this ominous pulse……I guess I had this horrible dream last night and woke up with this lasting uneasy feeling of helplessness. So as I woke up, I produced this track with the feeling of unease left by this nightmare.
Even though I stopped watching the news years and years ago….too much propaganda, lies, bad news etc, I cannot avoid the people’s attitude and response to what’s happening now. All the anger and fear. 
Sorry guys, I usually try to post happier relaxing music, something about fighting and being hopeful, but as I mentioned so many times before, I tend to produce and post music on impulse. Love to all. Copyright protected ©

I was honored when https://soundcloud.com/graphicsontelevisions asked me to remake ‘Tattlesnakes’ from their fantastic album ‘Pun’. Maybe it’s the wildest one, unpredictable but coherent, it inspired me immediately !!

I've remixed to my taste their original studio stems (drums & keyboards), adding my own vocals, guitars & more... hard recommendation of headphones again !!

Lyrics are from another of my ancient poems, where I played with oxytone & eproparoxytone rhymes (translated below but with lost effect in English).

In a state where he is highly working on his physical and mental skills and trying to pretty much live at fullest in the present day, there is still this longing back for and into the 80s, influencing his actions ...

One fateful day, there is this one paper ad, this one thing, which changes ... everything!
