Ruins Pub is an avant garde beer enthusiast’s mecca, where Hungarian and American cuisine intersect and 40-plus craft beers are available through self-serve taps, in addition to a full bar.
This one-of-a-kind pub features brews sourced locally and internationally, and a menu of over 100 unique meals, with regular specials and events supporting local artists, businesses and innovators.

In this interview, Nate & Scott explore his process developing the pub’s menu, discuss the challenges he’s faced -- finding the balance integrating Midwestern familiarity and cultural authenticity, and briefly analyze our roles as consumers.
