Update: Being so close to the anniversary of this playlist, I figured it would be nice to rummage through the list and rearrange some tracks in a bit of a new order. Over the course of several years, I've listened to thousands of songs covering thousand of ideas and emotions. This playlist, one of hopefully many to come, details a vague story out of around 150 of those tracks. It progresses through hopeful beginnings, utter despair, and then of course, the long road to repair. Through this playlist I convey a tale of my own struggles and personality, but only by piecing together bits of others'. It is at my most humble that I present to you Sin and Solace, a product of dozens of artists' unceasing work and love. Cheers, from Xavi Vapid.

One of these rare moments:
Sometime last week, 1am - just finished watching a movie and it was time to get some sleep. But I don't wanted to, even though I was pretty tired. I wanted to do something, be active. So I sat down and played some notes on my piano.. one thing led to another - 4am.

Open windows, traffic sounds - the city was waking up again already. Microphones hanging out of my window.. yep, that's a passing truck in this track.. it's this time in the morning, when I feel really creative and things can be so easy.

This is The Awakening.
