About the artist:

Krypton 81 is a Danish electro act formed by Per Lind and Martin Stoffregen. They both grew up in the raw industrial district of Randers. A tough and criminal place where a punk culture was acting around a small music venue. This was where they first met in different experimental music projects.

Years later, on a cold October night, they met on the Copenhagen central station watching the trains go by and discussing art concepts. Here in this dark rough place that reminded them of their hometown they were inspired to join forces and express their ideas in an electro act. Krypton 81 was formed.

Suddenly he realizes that taking a 'step back' is indispensable to restore the natural order of things, cause  'the dose makes the poison': if you exceed the dosage you risk to collapse the primordial balance between nature and human being, up to the 'emotional storm' and the erosion of our souls and hearts.

"System Damnation" is a collaboration of the two artists Fabrizio Rega (Direct Y) and Ivan Zanon (AHK). In this track the two producers wanted to highlight their Dark Electro and Miami Bass sound: impressive basses, breaks, dark ambience, scratching and vocoder. They talk about binary code, the relationship between man and machine, networks and hacking, as in a Cyberpunk novel.
There are several artists, members of the underground electronic music scene, who have supported the Roman duo with their remixes, enough to create an international collaboration. From Rome Ice One & The Electro Disciples, historical producer and rapper of the capital, currently very active in the electronic circuit and RawZombiez, the duo bloodthirsty destroyer of dancefloors. Baxim from Japan, a member of "Tokyo Electro Beat Park", producer and DJ talent. From Spain the "Korrupted Brothers" suggest that, in Pamplona, their synthesizers run like the bulls. From United States _AWOL is keen to show the potential of his 808.

The EP starts with "Code Wars", Direct Y obsessed by hacking, talks about digital intrusion in a binary code conversation. This human\robot competition turns into a fat bass with hig-tech drums and strange synthetic elements. Next come "The Death of The Universe", where AHK wants to accellerate the process of "Heat Death of the Universe". Directly from the second law of thermodynamics, massive basslines and epic pads affected by the broken beats. The story continue with "Base System Device", completely inspired from "A Cyberpunk Manifesto", Direct Y starts a serious Electrobass project to remember the roots of an underground culture. <<we are the electronic minds, bleeping modems, zeros and ones.>>, that's what the vocoder said. Last to come "Magnetic Monster", a strong magnetic field around the active galaxy NGC 1275 that hosts a supermassive black hole. Energetic activity of gas swirling near the black hole blows bubbles of material into the surrounding galaxy cluster. AHK decided to tell this story with an IDM\Electro track, beats slices sorrounded by the 'deep mind' synthesis technology
