Born in Buenos Aires and currently based in Montreal (CA), Jaijiu is an audiovisual artist influenced by the Argentine club sound, as well as its folklore and cumbia. His productions approach the rhythm in an edgy way, mixing his roots with current influences.

This release is intended for an imaginary and confined dance floor. It is danceable, while groundbreaking and uncomfortable, as the audio is pushed to the limit in search of drowning out all thoughts in volume and excess. In Jaijiu's words, “the louder it gets, the less I hear what's in my head.”

“42 AM” captures the distorted sound of our previous releases, but also brings kuduro, Latin music and noise to the table. It will be available as digital download via Nodo Label.

Mothership was born as an artistic collective in March 2021, seeking to promote and make visible the emerging and underground art of Bogota and Colombia. Serving as an artistic window for different multidisciplinary artists from Colombia.

This EP is the first compilation of the Mothership Collective curated by CRRDR, the purpose of this EP is to make visible emerging artists from Latin America and deconstructed Latin rhythms. For this purpose, a curation was made with independent artists who have excelled in immersing themselves in new sonic latitudes and making visible in their work different sounds of the underground club.
This EP consists of 6 tracks that stand out for deconstructing dembow and forming unique danceable atmospheres.
