Nodrize Records announces its third release featuring two tracks of pure techno, where risky futuristic sounds are of much more relevance once again. Aphonico opens with the main track, “Unknown signal”, where he avoids the more harmonic and melodic sounds to take us into drones, darkness and depth. A track clearly focused on the dance floor triggering mechanic sequences straight into your mind, making us travel directly to his interior cosmos. The second track is a remix by Coefficient, giving it a different touch but keeping the energy and the character of the tune. This well known producer gets us into his very own vision of techno using a different structure which brings a fresh and dynamic twist. An EP where the label takes a serious leap by making a commitment for serious and creative sounds, making it clear the direction Nodrize records is taking.

Nodrize Records es la respuesta emocional que surge del encuentro entre el amor incondicional por los orígenes de la música electrónica de baile y el respeto y admiración por sus creadores y por aquell@s que continúan expandiendo su legado.
Busca convertirse en una herramienta útil para los músicos y  productores que consigan vestir de sentimiento la aritmética del baile y para los oyentes ávidos de música disparada desde el corazón y no sólo desde las máquinas.
Sus tentáculos se despliegan por Detroit, Chicago, Sheffield, Berlín y Tokio, recogiendo de cada lugar la esencia de cada patrón rítmico, de cada detalle sonoro y reciclándola conforme al lenguaje propio de cada uno de sus artistas. APHONICO is just another name of the percussionist Arthur Drummer, it's the name he uses to show his electronic music production alter-ego.
His cornerstone it's Techno, and from there, he elegantly drives his creations to explore with mastery different territories to create his own speech very far away from the typical trends. We find reverential treatments of synths from first Detroit Techno years, Dub influence specially from the labels like Basic Channel / Chain Reaction, the relevance of minimalism of the old Plastikman, the industrial landscapes from Birmingham, the groove coming from the Napolitan rhythms, and the neatness of contemporary products like Coefficient or Asagaoaudio.
All this and much more it's hidden under the sound imaginary of APHONICO, who, through his live sets, knows how to adapt his vision to the atmosphere of the different venues, and to the needs of the public without having to give in to ridiculous concessions, and always offering tracks created and produced by himself.
This allowed him to participate in a big variety of events, sharing decks with first line artists like Surgeon, James Ruskin or Ben Sims amongst others. This "top notch" artists gave him the ability and experience needed to convert APHONICO in a safe bet for all kind of events.
His polyvalence and knowledge of the environment together with his experience and good musical preferences it's something that never go unnoticed, having published references in different labels like: Nukapa Rec, Contrart-R, Redpoint Alert Rec, Nasty Temper Records, Induxtriall Records ,KIDNAPPING Netlabel, Digital Garden Records.
Positive feedback made him to be very motivated to continue increasing his perspective of what Techno must be, understanding it like the amalgam of both dancing/not dancing electronic music which has implanted on it's gens the inheritance of Detroit Techno, so sometimes you will be able to listen him very near to the IDM and in other times you will listen sounds remembering to Joey Beltram, but in any case it will have the personality of APHONICO; obtaining a highly recognizable sound it's just thanks to talent, studio work hours and live performance hours working on different venues.



APHONICO es el alias detrás del percusionista Arthur Drummer, que bajo este alter-ego nos presenta su faceta como productor de música electrónica.

Su piedra angular es el techno, y desde ahí sabe derivar con elegancia y bien hacer hacia distintos territorios que sabe explorar con maestría para crear un discurso propio ajeno a las modas y que lleva implícito toda la historia del techno en él, de forma que encontramos tratamientos reverenciales de los sintes de los primeros años en Detroit, la influencia del dub y en particular de sellos como Basic Channel / Chain Reaction, la impronta del minimalismo del primer Plastikman, los paisajes industriales de Birmingham, el groove de los ritmos napolitanos y la pulcritud de productores contemporáneos como Coefficient o Asagaoaudio.
