Inspired by Roxana, the Persian princess of Bactria and the daughter of a nobleman named Oxyartes. She married the King of Macedonia: Alexander when he professed his love for her in the fortress around 327 B.C.E. 
The name Roxana means: The dawn and luminous beauty (in both Persian and Bactrian)

This VA has been inspired by all the women warriors in Persian history, who have enormously impacted the ancient civilisation.
We dedicate each track to the strong women from that era, when women were treated equally with the men.
'Zan' means woman on Persian/Farsi language.
The album contains a huge tracklist by some of the biggest and most talented artists of #underground darkpsy scene, selected carefully by our #Persian label djs & crew members:
