SOPOR 2025 es una serie de mixes de música electrónica contemplativa curada por @didacta, presentada como residencia del colectivo bogotano Mariposa. A partir de la segunda semana de enero este espacio acoge exploraciones sonoras profundas y conceptuales.

Cuando Didacta me invitó a compartir un set Introspectivo lo primero que pensé fue en hacer un set de ambient estricto, sin percusiones, sin rítmicas acentuadas. Pero cuando empecé a armarlo pensé que me estaba yendo a una idea predefinida de lo Introspectivo con la que no estoy de acuerdo y decidí explorar una idea más personal sobre la introspección: escuchando, eligiendo músicas que me llevaran a ese lugar sin pensar tan explícitamente en los recursos formales que las componen.

Dado que no vengo de ser DJ sino compositora/productora tocando en formato Live y caí en los clubes/raves por una especie de flujo inevitable - relacionado a algunas de las músicas que hago -, cuando elijo música de otras personas me gusta que se escuchen temas completos, sin demasiado artilugio y que mi intervención venga más desde la curaduría que desde la mezcla. En este set puntualmente hice la selección pensando en la voz, elegí la mayoría de los tracks teniendo en cuenta que sea música electrónica que usa la voz como recurso; y también música que hace uso de otros instrumentos no electrónicos, pero que los lleva a producciones evidentemente electrónicas.

Si bien es una “política” personal en todas las cosas que curo, cabe mencionar que varixs de lxs artistas en este compilado son personas no-binarixs o mujeres y también una buena parte son artistas del sur global. También cabe aclarar que esto no es por una idea de “cupos” superficial, sino porque sé que muchxs grandes artistas (increíbles!) están invisibilizadxs por los mismos sistemas de opresión que ya conocemos y que su escaso reconocimiento no tiene nada que ver con su talento. De alguna manera me gusta poder poner la música de estas personas junto a la música de hombres, personas blancas y gente del norte, bien reconocidos/as (que me encanta lo que hacen), para que dialoguen y también para que en una escucha continua sea evidente que se comparte el mismo nivel.

El artista visual y multimedia, físico y profesor universitario italiano, Riccardo Giovinetto, presentó en el L.E.V. Festival 2024 una versión extendida de su performance audiovisual F E M I N A.

Este proyecto explora la idea de la virtud y la mirada que la define durante el Renacimiento a través del viaje imaginario de una inteligencia artificial. En ella, ecos de madrigales polifónicos se superponen a la composición de la música electrónica original, mientras muestras de pinturas renacentistas se transforman en un flujo de imágenes que muta constantemente, interactuando con el sonido.

Italian visual and multimedia artist, physicist and university professor Riccardo Giovinetto presented an extended version of his audiovisual performance F E M I N A at the L.E.V. Festival 2024.

This project explores the idea of virtue and the gaze that defines it during the Renaissance through the imaginary journey of an artificial intelligence. In it, echoes of polyphonic madrigals are superimposed on the composition of the original electronic music, while samples of Renaissance paintings are transformed into a flow of images that constantly mutates, interacting with the sound.

Manja Ristić is a Serbian violinist, sound artist, published poet, curator, and researcher. In her work, she sets ecosystems in resonance and translates the human activity that criss-crosses them.

Curated by @ tiko.gogoberidze , aka TINA, Holy Oscillation is a monthly radio show focusing on experimental electroacoustic music and the influence of 20th-century classical composers. The show features musicians from different backgrounds, live performances, and guest music theorists. It provides young musicians and composers a space to collaborate, experiment, and share their work.

Tobias Gerber studied classical saxophone and art theory in Zurich. From 2009 to 2018, he was
a member of the Zurich ensemble WERKTAG, with which he premiered works by Ernstalbrecht
Stiebler, Alex Buess, Edu Haubensak, Dominique Girod, Antoine Chessex and others. As an instrumentalist, Tobias Gerber has participated in countless projects ranging from opera and contemporary chamber music to free improvisation. In addition to his musical activities, he is also an event organizer. He curated the „Generator“ concert series for electronic
music at Zurich University of the Arts from 2014 to 2023, co-curated the „Textures Festival“ at Cafe Oto in London in 2017
and 2019, and has been artistic co-director of the biennial festival for electronic music „Zwei
Tage Strom“ in Zurich since 2013.

Tamriko Kordzaia had already made a name for herself as a Haydn and Mozart interpreter in her native Georgia. After moving to Switzerland, she continued this work, but increasingly focused on New Music. She has received numerous national and international awards, in-cluding first prize and the prize for Mozart interpretation at the Sakai International Competi-tion in Japan. From 2008 to 2023 she was a member of the Mondrian Ensemble, with which she received the Swiss Music Prize in 2018. Among many others, important and enriching encounters have been those with Dieter Ammann, Klaus Lang, Alvin Lucier, Felix Profos and Jannik Giger.
Her latest formation, Ensemble KIOSK (2021), creates eclectic concert forms with sceno-graphic elements.

SHAPE+, previously known as SHAPE, is a European platform for innovative music and art. It is artist-oriented, and, every year, it creates a selection of  exceptional emerging talent via open call and curatorial voting, to then foster their careers with performance invitations, collaborative residencies, commissions, seminars and networking events. SHAPE+ consists of 18 non-profit venues and festivals, including Unsound, CTM, Construction and Intonal, and is co-funded by the European Union, and, as of middle of 2024, also Pro Helvetia.
