Born in the Philippines but raised in Harvard, Massachusetts, west of Boston, Jackson was initially influenced by rock guitar greats like Jimmy Page before falling under the spell of jazz and following the style and career of jazz guitar luminaries like Pat Metheny and George Benson. After attending Berklee School of Music, studying jazz composition and arranging, he spent some of his formative years in the mid-1980s living and playing guitar with the lively expat jazz community in Paris, France. Jackson moved to New York City afterwards, where he remains an active participant in Gotham’s always vibrant jazz scene.
 
A master of the six, seven and twelve string guitars, he has appeared on over 40 albums by such artists as Hal Singer, Graeme Norris, Ron Blake, Gisele Jackson and T.K. Blue. In 2003, Jackson founded the independent record label Roni Music, which has since released eight of his albums as a leader including the 2014 acoustic guitar record Akustik InventYours, and his 2012 trio album Burning Gums.

Two friends, born worlds apart, sharing one very special means of expression. Using the depths of silence, and the great landscapes of the country as an engine of creation, them songs were meant to bring us back to something true. 

Inspiration is groomed from life that does not change, from what that holds on, from those comforting places on earth where life is good and people tend to go to heal, and come back stronger.

Mat writes from memories of a not forgotten past, from experiences, and the stories that he collects from his many adventures. Noe embroids melodies by letting herself being carried by the moment, by the sheer pleasure of the process of singing, by making the motion of making music a joyful experience.

Originaire de la Vallée-de-la-Matapédia en Gaspésie, Noe écrit de longues histoires dans des cahiers Canada depuis qu'elle peut alligner quelques lettres au bout d'un crayon. Elle touche a un piano pour la première fois vers l'âge de 16 ans. Pianiste autodidacte, elle entre au Campus-Notre-Dame-de-Foy a Québec en 2005 en technique Professionnelle de musique et chanson pour y perfectionner sa voix et ses connaissances musicales. Après avoir participé a plusieurs concours en tant qu'interprète ( Le Tremplin, Saint-Ambroise, Cegep en Spectacle, Star Académie ) Noe ce met a la composition et y trouve son compte. 
L'album ''La convergence des petits moi'' est enregistré Live en Aout 2012. Musique et chanson sont inspirés de l'être humain en évolution. La Transparence et les prises de conscience au quotidien sont ce qui rend particuliers les textes de ce premier album.
