An old video game from childhood. A familiar place. A dark memory breaks through.

Vestige, by Philip Hasselback is out now in the Dread X Collection 5 on Steam! I had the pleasure to work on the soundtrack for this. Vestige has a "reality" part where you explore a house and a "game" part where you play through an old video game that is somehow connected to the events happening in outside of it.

made with a variety of different analog, '80s synthesizers and drum sample floppy disks ran into a roland s-550. a good deal of the album was created after i moved into a comically small apartment and started college, and switched up my signal routings. lots of techniques! you can email me if you have any specific questions about the creation of this album.

(this isn't the big album i've been working on the past 2 years, that one's a much different tone. i've been working on this for about a year and a half concurrently with the big album, this is me getting that synths + drum machine itch scratched lol.)
