Between old routines, muted laughter from the TV, and songs that still carry her voice, the narrator drifts through the echoes of what used to be. There’s warmth, regret, and a restless longing to break free — to feel alive again, even if it hurts.

„Burning Love“ erzählt von einem Menschen, der in der Routine des Alltags festhängt und von dem Verlust nicht loskommt. Es ist dieses leise Ziehen, das sich morgens in den Kaffee schleicht, der Zettel auf dem Küchentisch, das Verstummen vertrauter Dinge, wenn jemand fehlt. Zwischen alten Gewohnheiten, dem fahlen Licht des Fernsehers und Liedern, die noch ihre Stimme tragen, tastet sich der Erzähler durch die Schatten der Vergangenheit. Last movement of the rock symphony, where I pay tribute to, and play, my mom's spanish guitar.
Main theme (bass E1-A1...E1-A1-E2...), appears all along the album, and also main themes of other 3 movements sound here as refrains (Vienen y van / Hora tras hora) which are thus sung over 4 different musics ;) E-Ruizzo project is finished, what's to come?... below translated lyrics.

I had been really wanting to make new music with Calebass. I have been making a lot of songs that lean more heavily toward hip hop the last couple years and felt like heading back toward the direction of my earlier years on SoundCloud. Luckily Calebass was willing and ready and the music flowed easily and steadily. Jon did an amazing job adding an element of jazz with his bass and Janine really awakened the psychedelic spirit and Age of Aquarius with her vocals. It was extra bonus to have both Sinfields participate in this song making this a real SC family affair. Lyrically, I was inspired by the children’s book, Ox-Cart Man, which I love, and all the felt mouse toys I recently made for my cat at my daughter’s request. 

Thanks for all your years of listening everyone!
