This track was born out of two things: A rumble, and the MiniFreak virtual instrument. The rumble actually came second but quickly took center stage because I was so happy with it.

The MiniFreak is still there, it's the main melody that comes in later. The other synth stabs and tones are all Phase Plant.

I'm not sure whether this genre (melodic hardcore techno?) already exists - it certainly reminds me of those Thunderdome CDs I used to listen to in the 90s. Somebody suggested "melodic industrial", that definitely works for me.

Have fun with it! It's certainly slightly less smooth and relaxing than the last few things I've made.
