Berlin's legendary Techno icon, Thomas Schumacher, is set to electrify the airwaves on Tuesday, September 19th, from 4-6 pm. It’s a takeover special, by Saturday morning’s show ‘Positive Education – presented by Ordia’, promising an unforgettable journey into the world of electronic music.
 
For over three decades, Thomas Schumacher has been a driving force in the electronic music scene, earning him a well-deserved reputation as a true pioneer and luminary. His unparalleled creative genius has not only resonated with fans but has also inspired fellow artists worldwide. From timeless classics such as "Ficken," "When I Rock," and "Schall" (released under his alter ego Elektrochemie LK), Schumacher's musical evolution has been nothing short of remarkable.

I had the best time at For The People’s Rave at MyAeon in July.

I played an hour of groovy house and hard boogie in the main room. This set opened the door for me for a new sound and has plunged me into a deep obsession 🤓 I’ve even been dabbling in a bit of hardgroove. 

Thanks again for For The People for having me and thanks to all the friends who came down and boogied! Can’t wait to see what For The People do next.

Progressive electronic music in the late 90s blurred the lines between progressive house and trance, dominated by epic trancey breakdowns, house style beats, dreamy vocals and occasionally just the right amount of acid. This period was particularly transformative in my electronic music journey and continues to influence my taste to this day, still resonating in the style of techno that I love to play.

For this mix I once again showcase some absolute gems of the genre and time period, with numerous timeless tunes that will always be very special to me. Enjoy!
