Joat aka Matthew Mizzi born and raised on the Islands of Malta With various influences since his early years, he found most inspiration in swing and pacey rhythms  which he now expresses completely when playing a variety of genres such as Dubstep / Dub / Steppers / Garage / Jungle / DnB. Basically anything with a pure sub sonic frequency (low end bassline) and a good groove. Through his experience playing at various Bass parties & Festivals in Malta, Europe and New Zealand, Joat has developed a great talent to read what a crowd needs without compromising on his own unique style and expression. Matthew is also a founding member of FDM Crew which was leading the Bass revolution on the Maltese Islands for many years.
