Hill Top is one of Goa’s oldest party venues, existing since over 31(!!) years and hosted many legendary parties with many of the leading artists in the scene. 1000’s of people from all over the world gather annually to celebrate the transition into the New Year. Goan native and founder of Hill Top Records DJ Starling teamed up with Sangoma’s Middle East fraction Jafar and Emiel (Gata Freak) with the intention to share a glimpse of the raw energy of India’s dancefloor – the source of our beloved Psytrance scene. This release also reflects the spirit of Sangoma Records – collaborating with friends and the aim to deliver a fresh outlook on contemporary Psychedelia. This release is fusing various facets of the musical spectrum for your sonic expedition, making you want to transmigrate Goa immediately.

For long, humans have been closely associated with Felines. In Ancient Egypt, Cats have played an important role in shaping their history as we know it, and the pineal gland appears to play a major role in the hibernation of animals and seasonal breeding. 

In some lower vertebrates the pineal gland has a well-developed eye-like structure and it functions as a light receptor and could be considered the evolutionary forerunner of the modern eye. The results of various scientific research have explained the phylogeny of the pineal gland in different vertebrate species. From the point of view of biological evolution, the pineal gland represents a kind of atrophied photoreceptor. In the epithalamus of some species of amphibians and reptiles, it is linked to a light-sensing organ, known as the parietal eye, which is also called the third eye.

Spiritual Connection

On the westcoast of Norway, between majestic mountains and in the far mystic forests somewhere…the NOIZEBUG project came alive. The project was created & founded by Steffen Sommerstad back in 2003. 
  After he fell madly in love with the psychedelic trance scene in the year 2000 and going to several parties and festivals across Scandinavia and Europe the following years, with finding his spiritual “self”, he wanted to set his own soundscapes to life. When he first got the famous “WOW!” factor listening to twisted , chaotic and yet melodic powerful quality music on the dancefloor, he thought to himself: “I want to influence people exactly the same way and to get the same feeling like I did on that Tempel dancefloor”. 
  He soon found himself floating away in front of the computer with different hardware synthesizers and software, creating lots of different sounds, liquid patterns and rhythms, where rhythm has been a big interest all his life. 
His style is very powerful, with big organic atmospheres and mystic melodic soundscapes, influenced by the mystic nature you’ll find in the land of trolls & gnomes, Norway... 
He has played his livesets in countries like Norway, Poland, Romania, England, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Morocco and the Czech Republic...
