Welcome to our new series, PsynOpticz Elements, where we will be featuring DJs & producers from around the world that make up our beloved psychedelic scene. We are very excited to announce our 4th feature, Frostbite from Portugal!

Frostbite is Miguel Letria and Ricardo Estanislau, both from Lisbon, Portugal. DJing together since 2012, these two friends’ goal is to present a fun, diverse and refreshing interpretation of Psy-Trance in their sets. Frostbite sound can be defined as versatile and dynamic and their music choice can range from the lighter side of the psychedelic spectrum to the more intense night time tunes. With two successful compilations previously released (“Travel Agency” and “Overview Effect”) Frostbite is now venturing into the world of production with their own original work, with their debut EP resulting in a #1 position on Beatport’s Psy-Trance charts. Their sets have blasted dancefloors all over Portugal and have spread out to Brazil, France, Ireland, Italy, Hungary and India. Played in the psy-trance world’s biggest festivals: Boom, Ozora, WAO, Freedom, Mundo de Oz, just to name a few.

On the westcoast of Norway, between majestic mountains and in the far mystic forests somewhere…the NOIZEBUG project came alive. The project was created & founded by Steffen Sommerstad back in 2003. 
  After he fell madly in love with the psychedelic trance scene in the year 2000 and going to several parties and festivals across Scandinavia and Europe the following years, with finding his spiritual “self”, he wanted to set his own soundscapes to life. When he first got the famous “WOW!” factor listening to twisted , chaotic and yet melodic powerful quality music on the dancefloor, he thought to himself: “I want to influence people exactly the same way and to get the same feeling like I did on that Tempel dancefloor”. 
  He soon found himself floating away in front of the computer with different hardware synthesizers and software, creating lots of different sounds, liquid patterns and rhythms, where rhythm has been a big interest all his life. 
His style is very powerful, with big organic atmospheres and mystic melodic soundscapes, influenced by the mystic nature you’ll find in the land of trolls & gnomes, Norway... 
He has played his livesets in countries like Norway, Poland, Romania, England, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Morocco and the Czech Republic...
