A song written mid-pandemic, when isolation and desperation were rather common for all. Cities felt abandoned... desolate, and we weren't sure we'd ever get back to normal, or what that new normal would be. We had to believe that we were turning a corner, that things were somehow getting better - despite the horrible losses and barrage of media. We could only hope that the wave had broken, and that better days were waiting ahead.
