One of the longest running fun creators in the Bay Area dance music and underground arts scene. Called a "Renaissance man of the West Coast scene", and with good reason. Founder of the legendary Opulent Temple collective, best known for their premiere sound stage at Burning Man, past Board Member and key producer of the San Francisco LovEvolution event (formerly known as LoveFest/Love Parade), founder of Opel Productions, throwing club events and 'parties with purpose' in San Francisco for 17+ years, a child psychologist with a Doctorate in transpersonal psychology, curator of sound in SF and BRC, blogger on social issues, and of course - a DJ.

Started throwing both underground parties in 2001, and benefit events for different charities with Spundae. Following year  started Opel Productions, intended to be parties with purpose showcasing a range of forward thinking underground dance music with a dash of social activism thrown in the party message. In 2003, finished a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, founded Opulent Temple, and joined the Board for San Francisco's Love event. In current 'day job', work out of a community clinic with foster kids in the Bayview Hunter Point area in San Francisco.

On the DJ tip, one of the West Coast's top talents, consistently being voted in the Top 10 San Francisco Dream Team poll, and playing the biggest events in California party land. Playing a versatile range of house and techno and breaks, been personally tapped to open and close for the varied likes of Underworld, Moby, Tiesto, Stanton Warriors, Armin Van Burren, and the list goes on.  Knows what to do in any situation to bring the universal vibe of dance music.  Sets are known for walking the fine line between the gritty and the pretty, with a musical range seldom seen in party land.

Dj Sabine's work focuses on the exposure and pleasures of African diasporic music. Brooklyn Mecca, Cumbancha, and Oyasound are a few of her creative projects. Over the years, Dj Sabine's mainstay and cultivation has been the monthly event Brooklyn Mecca which has been coined the home of "Grassroots Dance Culture". Sabine worked for Ocha Records label as a Brand Marketing Director/Producer and Bembe NYC Party resident DJ. Today, she is the resident DJ for Subrosa's new signature monthly party Cumbancha featuring African inspired rhythms of House, Soul, Latin music and more. Oyasound Ep is currently in the works. Dj Sabine spins Global Soul: House, Afrotech, Afrobeat, Haitian Roots and other diasporic tunes. She's had the great opportunity to spin nationally in the US in NYC, Atlanta, St. Louis, Memphis, Chicago, Omaha, Boston, New Orleans, Miami, LA/Oakland, NJ, Washington DC, Dallas, Denver and internationally in Canada, Senegal, Haiti, Cuba, & Mexico. She sits on several panel discussions, DJs, and curates showcases for the well renown Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI), highlighting the power of spirituality in the arts and has been honored as an emerging artist at the 27th Annual Women of Power Conference 2014: The Art of Being a Woman. Sabine made the Most Respected House DJ's List of 2014 by MediaServiceNyc for recognized innovative djs. In June 2014, Sabine produced her 1st installment of her project Lakay Se Lakay: Home Is Home a Haitian electronic artists conversation series & No Passport (NYC Edition) party in conjunction with Haiti Cultural Exchange's 1st NYC Haitian Arts & Culture festival Selebrayson!. Since, Sabine produced her 2nd installment as a full-day conference in partnership with The New School in 2015 and the 3rd as a visual/sonic installment for HCX's 2016 Lakou Nou Fellowship. Sabine was also the featured Dj for the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art's 50th Anniversary. Sabine ultimately seeks to create new scholarship through the African and Haitian diasporic lens of music, culture and spirituality.

Argentina-born, California-based upcoming DJ/Producer. I discovered raves in the 90s in Buenos Aires and immersed myself in Burning Man electronic music since 2010. In 2021 I began my adventure into beats production.  Lover of world music and addicted to digital folk, organic and downtempo. Say hi!

We connect and share the DJ sets from live Ecstatic Dance journeys around the world!

All the sets here have been created/recorded at an Ecstatic Dance production with live dancers. Our productions are intentional gatherings, follow an energetic journey-arch, have a minimum time-length or one hour and incorporate professionally curated and mixed global electronic sounds and tracks to uplift the spirit and inspire free-form dancing.
