Laying on quartz,
With moss draped over me like a blanket of some sort.
No dreaming today,
Or maybe I’m in one right now to my dismay.
With spiraling time,
There’s not enough in a day to be myself.
I want to be at my prime,
But I can’t even figure what’s up with my own health.

I got myself a tangerine, the juices I licked.
And I love you so much I feed you every other piece that I pick.
                       
The garden is damp, and I’m doing my best not to step on worms--
And I’m a fire sun so I guess you could say that I’m used to the candle burns.
Opals of romance, I’m wishing on a star with a bay leaf in my hand.
If I’m not watching the moon, then I’m trying to watch the universe expand.
